Do you know how to hold a heart? The perfect angle onto which your hand should be cupped, not too flat for it will slip and not to enclosed for it will crush. I know you didn’t have a course on this for college, but holding a heart is as easy as riding a bicycle - once you know what to do, you’ll never forget how.

Hold it at an angle that is not too loose, neither too tight. Hold it in such a way that it is safe. Hold it and whisper the things you never could say to others - your secrets, your insecurities, your anything that nobody could understand. Hold it and look around, others might be sneaking around wanting to steal it from you.

Never put in under direct sunlight, it will burn - remember to keep it under room temperature. Never throw it around, it is fragile. Never take it near sharp objects, the heart bruises easily and takes long to heal - there will be scars. Never let it go unless you are ready, chances are it will never go back.
